Meet the "Ewell" in Ewell Consulting

Greetings! My name is Jennifer Ewell, and I am the principal consultant and owner of Ewell Consulting. I'd like to share a little about my background to paint the picture of why I thrive on my consulting work.

I have a high level of enthusiasm for product and business management, fueled by over 13 years of experience as well as recognition as a certified product manager. I've used that enthusiasm to successfully start, grow, and reshape product portfolios at multiple firms. And in 2015, I left my job as Senior Product Manager of a growing digital marketing firm to begin consulting with more diverse clients. Over my career, I've provided strategic, technical, and operational leadership for industries such as transportation/logistics, e-commerce, enterprise management, pharma/healthcare, GRC, government, and construction.

Some of my specialties are designing enterprise-level product ecosystems, serving as a conduit between the business and technical worlds, and championing process improvements. A public speaker since my youth, I am comfortable presenting to even the toughest of audiences (e.g., analysts, C-suite executives, government officials). And my ability to convey the true value of a product has led to sales conversions with several Fortune 500 companies. Engineers and IT staff are fast friends, too, because of my coding background and passion for patterns and algorithms. (My old Dev team loves to tell about my adoration of the Fibonacci series...)

Consulting keeps me on my toes; stagnation is the antithesis of my work ethic. On any given day, you may find me attending a developer conference to learn about emerging technologies, contributing to a web chat about management perspectives, or piloting a new product DevOps process. I use my diverse background to draw unique parallels across industries. And I lean in to new challenges.

As my career progresses, I hope to keep stretching my abilities and experiences. As this website states in its introduction, "Innovation is hard. Ewell Consulting works harder." As the "Ewell" in Ewell Consulting, I look for opportunities to work harder for the benefit of all my clients.
